Sooner or later almost every fan asks it: "can we meet?", "where do you live?", "let me take you out". You will never meet him - but how you answer decides whether the chat ends in a sale or in silence.
We tested two different answers to the first meetup question, each fan always getting the same one.
The two answers we tested
Answer A - the light one-liner. A flattered, playful line and move on ("haha you're sweet ๐ let's get to know each other here first").
Answer B - the date question. Turn the question back to him: "would you take me out to a fancy restaurant if we met?"
The result
- Answer A: 44 fans, 6.8% subscribed, none of them paid for anything else.
- Answer B: 49 fans, 10.2% subscribed, and 4 of them paid.
Both kept fans talking about equally well - almost everyone replied. The difference was in the sales. It's a small sample, so treat it as a strong hint rather than proof, but we switched every chat to answer B.
Why the date question works
It turns a question you can't say yes to into a game he wants to play. He imagines the date, he commits to it - and that commitment carries straight into the next step.
The full script
He asks to meet. You: "would you take me out to a fancy restaurant if we met? ๐"
He says yes. You: "then start spoiling me here first ๐ it's even cheaper than dinner" - and your link or a PPV.
He says no. You: "why? you don't believe i'm real with you?" - now his answer is his real objection, and you can work with it (see objection handling).
Mix up the date
The restaurant is one option. A cinema night with popcorn, a cocktail bar, a concert or a comedy show, a rooftop bar - anything a guy would actually spend money on, but not something tiny like an ice cream. Give each fan the same one every time, so the story stays consistent.
When he asks again
Some fans keep asking. Never say yes, never shut him down completely - give a believable reason and keep it warm:
- "honestly my exams are killing me right now ๐ฅบ"
- "a girl has to be careful meeting guys she doesn't know well yet.. let's keep talking first"
The rules that never change
- Never agree to meet and never set a date.
- Never share anything real - no city, no street, no workplace, no number.
- Never lecture him for asking. It's a compliment; treat it like one.
