Sooner or later a fan asks for a call. Sometimes he's skeptical and wants more than text. Sometimes he just wants to hear her voice before he pays.
Voice calls are live in our Telegram bot today. We also priced out live video with lip-sync. The price isn't what stops it.
Voice calls: already running
The AI places a real voice call on Telegram. It hears the fan, answers with the same brain that writes the chat, and speaks in the model's voice. It costs under a cent a minute.
- Only when the chat needs it. He's skeptical, doesn't trust her enough to pay yet, or asks for a call or to meet.
- Only fans worth the call. He has to be in a top-paying country. If the chat doesn't say where he is, the AI asks first.
- One real call per fan. A missed call gets up to 3 tries, 2 hours apart. Calls stay short to keep the cost down.
- Consistent with the chat. The call knows the city from the chat. It speaks his language and switches when he does. It never talks money on the phone.
Live video: cheap enough to run
We looked at three ways to add a picture to the voice. Each one keeps the same voice and brain.
| Option | What he sees | Extra cost per 10-min call | Adult content |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pre-made clips + live voice | Short clips of the model, switched to the mood of the call | about $0 (one-time $10-30 for the clips) | Yes, your own content |
| Self-hosted lip-sync | A real clip of the model, mouth redrawn live to the voice | about $0.06-0.15 | Yes, your own server |
| Hosted avatar services | A polished, fully animated face | about $0.90-3.70 | Banned or unclear |
Hosted avatar services rule themselves out. The best known one forbids sexual content outright, and the others don't publish a clear rule. One flirty call could cost you the account.
Running lip-sync on a rented graphics card is the opposite: no content rules but your own, and about a cent a minute while a call is on.

Why lip-sync alone isn't enough
Lip-sync only redraws the mouth. Body, pose and room stay exactly as they are in the clip underneath. That works for talking. It falls apart when the fan wants more.
Works
- Talking, laughing, flirting
- Short calls on a phone screen
- A real clip underneath, so it looks natural
Doesn't work
- Undressing or showing more when he asks
- Lying down, getting up, a new angle
- Anything the clip underneath doesn't already show
- When he wants to play, a talking-head clip can't follow. Switching to another clip breaks the lip-sync.
- Moving around needs its own footage for every position, and the lip-sync has to work on each one.
- The NSFW part has to come from the model's own content, on your own server.
- Full-body live video isn't ready. In an independent test in August 2026, none of seven open-source projects made video as fast as it plays.
So the missing piece is the logic, not the price. The AI has to pick the right clip for what he asks and how far the call has gone, then move between clips without a visible cut.
What we'll build, in order
- Clip logic first. A library of short clips, from listening and laughing to spicier ones, picked by the AI under the live voice.
- Sold inside Fanvue. A 10-minute video call as a pay-to-unlock message, plus extra minutes. The call itself runs on the model's own page.
- Lip-sync only if calls sell. The graphics card starts while the call rings, so idle time costs nothing.
- Telegram video after that. The voice calls already run there.
Bottom line
Voice calls are cheap, live and good enough today. Video is cheap enough too, but a moving mouth on a fixed clip isn't what fans pay for. We'll ship video once it can follow what he asks.
FAQ
Can the AI call fans today?
Yes, by voice on Telegram, when the chat calls for it and only for fans in top-paying countries.
What does a voice call cost?
Under a cent a minute on our side. Calls stay short by design.
Why not use a ready-made avatar service for video?
The best known one bans sexual content and the others have no clear rule. A ban would hit your account.
When does live video come?
After the clip logic works and fans show they'll pay for calls. We'll write about it when it's live.
